The 1916 Census is Here!

I am pleased to announce the arrival of 13 reels of microfilm containing the Saskatchewan portion of the 1916 Census in the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society's Library and Research Room. This purchase was made possible due to a very generous and much appreciated donation received from the estate of Mr. Barret D. Halderman. Mr. Halderman had been a member of the Society since 1975. The following reels are available to SGS members:
T-21931, T-21935 to T-21938, T-21940 to T-219946 and T-21956 (contains the Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Alberta Indian Reserves). For a description of these reels, please go to the Library and Archives of Canada web site at http:.//www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/genealogy/022-911.008-e.html.
