SEMINAR - Alberta Family Histories Society, Calgary, Alberta
AFHS will host a day-long seminar with Dave Obee at which he will give four presentations on Genealogy in Canada. Dave will speak about immigration to Canada (Destination Canada), online sources and resources for information (Canadian Genealogy on the Internet), information on the censuses (Mining the Canadian Census) and the experiences, at home and abroad, of Canadians in the First World War. We think these topics may be of interest to Canadians across the country and beyond.... we welcome family historians from anywhere and everywhere. The cost is only $35 per person.
